Alayna (vocals):
Alayna Renae moved to Music City on Valentines Day 2014 to chase her love of performing and to work with a new variety of musicians. Music has always been a part of her life, being raised by a parental duo of professional musicians in Orlando, FL. Drawing inspiration from artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Erykah Badu, and Amy Winehouse, Alayna wants to create a sound that melds various genres together colliding into a variation of jazz, R&B, and good ol’ rock n roll. She has been singing background vocals around town, but will be releasing her first EP this year working with artists of diverse backgrounds to produce a new sound of music.

Nic (drums):
Ever since Nicholas Wiles first heard Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers he knew nothing in this life more precious than music. Growing up in the Atlanta jazz scene, he developed his voice as a drummer. In college, he studied Percussion Performance at the University of Georgia. After school, he played in the southeast with such bands as: The Last Waltz Ensemble, Eddie & The Public Speakers, jazzchronic, Gialanella Wiles & Hart, The Ike Stubblefield Trio and many more. A recent resident of East Nashville, Nicholas is now spreading his sound and beliefs in music around the No Country for New Nashville scene.

Erik Alvar (Bass):
Originally from Melbourne Beach, FL, Erik Alvar began playing music in fifth grade. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in commercial music. During his time at FSU Erik studied with jazz bassist, Rodney Jordan, and classical bassist, Melanie Punter. Upon arriving in Tallahassee Erik quickly found a home in the city’s acoustic music community performing weekly with various bluegrass and folk groups. Beginning sophomore year, he could be seen playing as far away as Miami and Nashville on weekends. As part of his studies Erik was chosen as one of sixteen young musicians to attend the 2013 Acoustic Music Seminar at the Savannah Music Festival where he worked with world-class musicians. Soon after graduating from Florida State University in May of 2013 Erik found his way to Nashville and now performs full time with the very talented and busy touring bluegrass siblings, the Roys.

Josh Blaylock (keys):
Joshua Blaylock is an original local of East Nashville. As a 23 year old graduate of Belmont, he is a well known session keyboardist and trombonist for this great city. He also composes his own music, recording it himself using Logic X. His mission, goal, and passion is to make music that makes people feel good and delivers a good message. He plays keys and trombone for his band Dynamo, (an 8-piece jazz, funk, R&B group) teaching seminars to schools around the country. You can also see them when they are in town at local venues.
